Soirée Cinéma: "Simone"

Several teachers and more than a dozen students attended the March 27 screening of Simone: Le Voyage du Siècle at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center of Houston (ERJCC) - Kaplan Theater at 6:45 pm.

A reception was held before the screening with wine and cheese. French Consul General Valérie Baraban, Consulate General of France in Houston. introduced the film.

Synopsis:
This moving film tells the life story of Simone Veil, a French Holocaust survivor who became a beloved politician and feminist icon in France.
