ALAIN MABANCKOU à HOUSTON

     The Alliance Française de Houston hosted a Literary Encounter with French Congolese author and filmmaker  Alain Mabankcou, author of Mémoires de Porc-Epic and Verre Cassé (among others). Several members attended the talk alongside French and Francophone guests, including large contingents from Houston’s Congolese and Togolese communities, All enjoyed a buffet of African specialities provided by a local Congolese caterer.
