EDITH PIAF MUSICAL

  Board member Manuela Langlois organized a small group outing (10 members and guests) to see a musical review titled “Piaf” that chronicled the life and music of Edith Piaf. The show — sung and spoken in French and English — took place at the Wortham Theater in downtown Houston, and it was packed with hundreds of fans who knew the words well enough to sing along. A few days later, immediate past president Claire Frazier organized a trip to the Museum of Fine Arts to see a major Frida Kahlo exhibit. The small group met first for brunch at the museum’s café, Leonelli.
